The meaning of FurEver Friends
Our Mission
Volunteers with Best Friends FurEver are working toward a time when all cats and dogs are cared for.
Rescue Process
- We rescue unwanted, injured, and abandoned animals
- We provide them with medical care, rehabilitation, and temporary homes until loving, “furever” homes can be found
- We spay and neuter prospective pets and educate owners about the importance of pet population control
Who We Are
Our organization, Best Friends FurEver, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that works to find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs and cats. We are strictly volunteers and are funded solely by donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees. All donations are federal tax deductible. Best Friends Furever is located in Humble / Kingwood, Texas.
Adoption Arrangements*
- Local Adoptions
- For local adoptions, send an email to bffurever@yahoo.com. We may put you in touch with the dog’s foster family for further details and can also make an appointment for you to meet the dog in person.
- Our local adoption fee is $150.00 USD per dog and $95.00 USD per cat. This fee includes the dog’s initial health exam (upon rescue), its spay/neuter operation, microchip, current vaccinations, and heartworm test.
- Long Distance Adoptions

- For long distance adoptions, send an email to bffurever@yahoo.com. We may put you in touch with the dog’s foster family for further details.
- Our long distance adoption fee is $600.00 USD per dog. This fee includes the dog’s initial health exam (upon rescue), its spay/neuter operation, microchip, current vaccinations, and heartworm test.

Donations help cover the costs of spaying/neutering, testing and vaccinating, and micro-chipping your companion animal. Donate with credit card via Paypal or send a check to our post office box . . .
